NGC Tripura Power Corporation (OTPC), a joint venture company of ONGC, IL&FS Energy Development Co. and Govt. of Tripura has commenced commercial operations at its first unit of the 3 MW Palatana power plant. The Rs 4,047 crore power plant is capable of injecting 8.7 million units per day in the power grid which can be beneficial for the entire Northeast region.
