Prices of toor, urad, moong and gram dal moved up, while that of maida went down at the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Maida (90 kg) declined by Rs 100 to Rs 2,400 from Rs 2,500 yesterday.
In contrast, urad dal rose by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs 9,800 from Rs 9,600.
In addition, toor dal and gram dal increased by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 9,900 and Rs 5,400 from its previous rate of Rs 9,800 and Rs 5,300, respectively.
However, prices of sugar (Rs 2,800), wheat (Rs 3,000) and Sooji 90 kg (Rs 3,000) remained unchanged in the market.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Toor Dal Rs 9,900, Urad Dal Rs 9,800, Moong Dal Rs 10,200, Gram Dal Rs 5,400, Sugar Rs 2,800, Wheat Rs 3,000, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,400 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,000.
