Infosys rose 0.96 percent at USD 59.87 and Wipro added 0.39 percent at USD 13.02.
In the banking space
ICICI Bank rose 2.66 percent at USD 34.40 and HDFC Bank jumped 1.97 percent at USD 33.62.
In the other sectors
Tata Motors slipped 1.3 percent at USD 31.85 and Dr Reddys Laboratories advanced 1.85 percent at USD 43.03
